Let’s do a tag game where we don’t use words, just commonly put together letters:
Cosima: Sarah don’t do the thing
Sarah: *does the thing and shrugs*
Sarah: Cosima don’t do the thing
Cosima: *does the thing and apologizes*
Sarah and Cosima: Alison this is a bad idea…
Alison: *has already done the thing, shrugs*
Sarah, Cosima and Alison: Helena don’t -
Helena: *an explosion is heard in the distance* Seestras…
I always channel my emotions into my work. That way, I don’t hurt anyone but myself.
Can we also please talk about that sort of sad, self-depreciating smile when she says “friends.” She’s been there for the start/most of her semester already (I’m assuming) and this is basically the first person that’s actively trying to become Cosima’s friend. Everyone’s probably all sectioned off into their own little cliques and groups by now and here’s Delphine, engaging in interactions with Cosima and she just knows that something is up. That Delphine must be her monitor. She finds it sort of unbelievable that someone would want to be friends with her now so late in the semester. That anyone wants to be friends with her without an agenda. She gives Delphine the benefit of the doubt anyway, trusting Delphine not to hurt her despite the probability of her being Cosima’s monitor is very high and I think that says a lot about Cosima as a person.
